Josie and Jesse Sr. created their hot sauce products in Taylor, Texas, during the 1990’s. They traveled throughout Central Texas, marketing their Mild, Hot, Six Pack, Habanero, and Green salsa products at local festivals, farmers' markets, and small retail shops.  Josie and Jesse were often accompanied by their children and grandchildren, who would help market and sell the salsas.  They regularly entered hot sauce contests in the area and often came home with the “best” local salsa award.  

Art Off Center is a ceramics studio and teaching facility dedicated to promoting cultural arts in Taylor. They offer private lessons and regular classes for adults, kids, and families, including hand building, wheel throwing, sculpture, and small group projects.

Hola Aloha was established in 2009 in a tiny trailer in east Austin, Texas, combining the childhood Hawaiian and native Texan cultures of the co-founders to offer real fruit syrup raspadas and Hawaiian shave ice.

Today, our brick-and-mortar location in Taylor, TX, serves snack bar selections that include crispy wagyu beef crispy and hibiscus crispy tacos, seasonal winter vegan tamales, saucy chamoy, and handcrafted shave ice served with a creamy center of our small batch custard.

For years, Ironwood Industries has been a small but mighty powerhouse of craft and design in Texas. Founded in Austin in 1995, the studio immediately established itself as an avant-garde design house and custom fabrication facility. These days, the studio continues to operate in downtown Coupland with a showroom in downtown Taylor and a remote studio in Marfa.
