BirdSong is an annual invitational art exhibition. The name is derived from the slang term term "Bird," for woman and Song," being their message.

This year's challenge, Collective Gaze, features the works of 16 contemporary female artists who are tasked to express the idea of visibility and judgement.

The BirdSong Mission - To explore the rapidly evolving cultures that define our world through a creative lens.

As an invited artists in the BirdSong exhibition series, it is understood that all work submitted is the original work of the invited artist and is not a reproduction or print. The exhibiting artists understand that their work will be photographed for promotion purposes and available for viewing on the various BirdSong and Mcrory Timmerman social media platforms. The BirdSong exhibition series feature the work of female artists or artists that identify as female. There will be not discrimination against race, age, or cultural and religious beliefs. Work is accepted based solely upon quality and relevance to each year's particular challenge.
